Training

All new members of staff under go a 4-6 week training program. The training sessions are conducted by the in-house training team. Each session specialises in individual qualities that Debt Negotiators will use during the course of their day to day work.

These include:

• Negotiation techniques
• Dealing with difficult callers
• Complying with CSA guidelines
• Maintaining DPA

Trainees are then shown how these techniques work in practice, by watching and listening to experienced team members and by listening to live calls within the normal office environment. After completing the initial 6 week training program new staff are monitored, to ensure that they are meeting CCSG`s high standards before they are allowed to work within the busy collections department.
